What the 1-5 is based on
Approximation: the AP English Language and Composition - 2007 Released Exam (official worksheet) conversion chart expressed as a percentage of that form's maximum
Worked out from College Board - AP Chemistry 2008 Released Exam, revised Table 4.2 Scoring Worksheet and AP Score Conversion Chart and 17 other sources.
The College Board does not publish composite cut points for current exams, so the 1-5 here is an approximation borrowed from the 2007 released English Language and Composition exam chart.
