Worked out from ACT, Inc. - 2018 ACT/SAT Concordance Tables (publication MS5885 REV 1) and 6 other sources.
The source note reads: 'Concordance tables for the ACT Composite were derived from concordances of the ACT sum score.'
How this is worked out
2 steps
- Composite = the average of the subject scores included in the composite, rounded to the nearest whole number (a half is rounded up). (24 + 25 + 26 + 27) / 4 = 25.5, rounded to 26.
- 2018 Concordance Table A2: ACT 26 -> SAT 1240 (range 1230-1250).
