How this is worked out

4 steps
  1. Scale: Unweighted 4.0 scale (letters only). Honours bonus +0.5, AP/IB bonus +1.
  2. Unweighted quality points = 13 over 4 credits = 3.25.
  3. Bonus points earned = 1.5.
  4. Weighted GPA = (13 + 1.5) / 4 = 3.625.
